How to Draw a Cartoon Vampire

***tier-3-top.shtml*** Cartoon Vampire

Another Halloween lesson - this time we've got a little cartoon vampire. Here, I've kept everything as simple as possible, so while progressing, see if you can change parts to best suit your own 'vampirish' look.

Here we go!

First Step - A Centrally-Based Guideline, From the Head On...

Starting with a simple 'stick and circle' framework, drawing in your character will be all the more easy. Below, you can see how I've designed it - nice and simple.

Here's how it looks...

If you like, sketch in some of the other parts of the framework - things you may want to map out before-hand to better maintain proportion and structure as you progress. As always --- keep those lines nice and light!

Drawing time!

Second Step - Draw Your Vampire

Based on many other lessons - you may have already completed? here at the site, beginning your drawing in this way - symmetrical about a circle and centerline, will make the entire process that much easier.

And best thing - there's an infinite number of ways that you can design yours - using this approach. Let's start!

Yup - when it's all said and drawn, you've got a cute little goulish creation - makes for a nice decoration to go around the house come Halloween - or maybe even your costume?!

Fun fun this lesson was... I'm thinking a cute little werewolf would be fun to draw next! :-)
